It's a girl!

I'm so excited to announce that my good friend Mindy had a baby girl on Tuesday! Olivia finally has a sister to play with! Here's the announcement from proud papa Kevin:

Just wanted to send you all a quick note on the day's event. Mindy gave birth to Lindsay Rich today at 12:57PM. I was very impressed with the whole process, Mindy really did an excellent job. I guess she has had some practice over the years and it certainly showed. Little Lindsay weighs 6lbs 13ozs and is 19.5 inches long. She has some hair (blonde), but not nearly as much as Olivia or the boys had. She started eating right away and is doing well. Mindy is also doing good. I've been racing around with the kids a bit today and was able to bring them over to the hospital for a while. Last time I attempted this (when Wyatt was born), Owen fell and cut his lip open. Luckily this wasn't as eventful, though Wyatt may have broken Mindy's electric bed by pressing all the buttons. It was nice for the kids to get acquainted with Lindsay. We should have plenty of photos for Mindy's blog. As you may know, we did not find out about the sex ahead of time. With all the anticipation built up, it really was exciting to finally find out what we were having. We didn't even tell the kids until they came to the hospital. Olivia is so happy to finally have a sister. She was hoping it would be a girl all along. When Wyatt was born, she was pretty sad and said that she really wanted a sister. So you can imagine how happy she was today. Once it was finally time for the kids and I to leave the hospital, everyone was so sad that mom and Lindsay wouldn't be coming home with us until Thursday. Mindy on the other hand is quite happy that she will be able to get some good rest and have peace and quiet before returning home. Kevin
